RISO3D was a community-driven installation of hanging, 3D, geometric riso prints.

Conventionally, riso prints are flat artworks but for this project, we wanted to push these boundaries. Riso Pop and Alice Prentice brought creative people together across the globe, to create a suspended universe of vibrant, colourful planetary forms.

We began this project as we became aware that as we approached the winter months, combined with the Covid 19 restrictions, we all would be spending more time indoors in our own small worlds. The aim of RISO3D was to invite people to collaborate with us from the comfort of their homes. Using this opportunity to get creative and contribute a unique piece of art to a global community installation.

We invited people to purchase templates to design and create their very own Riso printed world. The designs were then riso printed at the Riso Pop studio then, they were folded and installed at De Bouwput.
