Together with my friend and photographer Katharina Siegel we have collaborated to set up this new workshop for Riso Pop studio!
Collage is a fantastic medium to experiment and play. During this workshop you will learn what makes a good composition for collage and how to play with colour using the risograph. This workshop is for all levels and all ages.
Special: included in this workshop will be a box with a selection of materials for you to use at home!

How will the online workshop look like?
The workshop will be given in 2 parts:
Part I: Introduction to Collage & Riso
After you’ve registered for the workshop, you will receive a box sent to you home with materials and a variety of samples of paper with patterns for you to use. You will also get acces to the workshop page, where you will find videos that will guide you through the process step-by-step.
We will show you:
introduction to collage
composition and colour
how riso printing works and how to prepare your files
Your final assignment will be to make a series of 2 to 3 collage illustrations on A4 size., ready to be printed. (The box will include a folder you can send your work in back to us!)
Part II: Let’s ‘meet’ at the studio and print!
On Saturday 15th of May, everybody gets assigned slots to meet with me 'live' at the studio, where I will print your design together with you. I wil show you each step of the process. You can tune in during the whole session to watch how others print as well :)
We close off by show off everybody's work!
Finally, you get your work sent back by post.
What can you expect from this workshop?
You will be creating a collage series printed with riso on A4 format with 2 colours.
