Inky Animals & Riso

During this fun evening, you will have fun with black ink, making marks and blotches to resemble any animal you like! You will then add a second layer with details as a second colour. These two layers will be printed with the risograph printer.

We will be using the riso scanner, as one of its exciting attributes, is the capacity to recreate textures like the ones made with ink.

This workshop is divided into two parts:

Introduction to black ink & risograph printing

During the first part of the workshop we will start with an introduction to risograph printing and we dive right into black ink! A versatile art material that can be used in many ways. You will learn how to use the ink together with other materials to make interesting textures and effects.

From black to colour!

Once you are done with your design we can start printing! Transform your black & white design into a colourful print.
I will explain how the risograph printer works and you will get to print your design in two colours.
At the end of the workshop you will get to take 15 copies of your design to take home.
