This workshop is aimed for those who’d like to learn how to set up their files for riso. A great place to start, learning the basics and decide if you’d like to take part of an advanced course, our summer courses or to join the riso club!

Procreate & Adobe suite welcome: This short intro is for all who work digitally. We will cover the bases and help you understand the basics on how to set up files, taking in account the technicalities of printing with riso.

What will you learn? I will show you how the RISO machine works, I will share tips as well as common issues that arise when printing digitally, and you will be printing your series of 2 colour A4 prints to take home.

How does the workshop work?
50/50 Home & Studio

You take the workshop, Part I from the comfort of your home, and Part II at the studio (so you have time to work on your design)

Part I: You will receive intro videos and homework beforehand!
You will get information on how to set up your files so you can start your design at home. If you get lost don’t worry, we will have time during the live session to check your files.

Part II: We then meet on Thursday the 29th of June, for our printing session!

We will look at the riso printer up close and also at your files to answer any questions you might have. And then we will get started with printing! You will get to handle the machine on your own :D
