Join us as we journey through the Amsterdamse School neigbourood, known for its interesting architecture and hidden gardens! Get to sketch outdoors with fun exercises and gather inspiration for riso prints!

Saturday & Sunday Morning - from 10:00am to 1:30pm

What can you expect from this workshop:

Saturday Morning - City Walk & Urban Sketching

We gather in the southern are of the Pijp in Amsterdam and from here we will start with our walk. We will stop at special spots to learn more about the Amsterdam Archtietcure movement, and the special shapes and textures to look out for.

You will get at each spot a drawing exercise to get your going with urban sketching (don’t worry if you can’t draw! these are exactly meant for this!) We will also use out phone cameras to capture details. We will gather textures, images and more.

After a lunch break, we will meet at the studio. Here you will get an introduction to the riso printer and instructions for our 2nd part of the workshop.

Sunday Morning - At Riso Pop

On Sunday we meet directly at the studio to get working on your zine pages. We will talk about composition and story telling.

When ready, you get to print your pages with riso in two colours and together we will combine the pages into a fun booklet with exciting prints for you to take home.
