An overview of the workshop:

At Home > Getting ready

Before the workshop weekend you will receive a handout introducing the workshop. Here we will give you ideas and guidelines on how to develop your comic or visual narrative. You will be asked to work on this at home to make the most of the time at the studio for riso printing.

Day 1 - Sat 8th Oct

On Day 1 you will get an introduction to riso printing, and we will look at your files to make sure everything is ready to set up our printing files. We will talk about colours as well as details in the book. The plan is to start printing “side A” by the end of the workshop!

Day 2 - Sat 9th Oct

On day 2 we will continue printing with “side B”. As everything dries, you will get an intoruction to book binding. Once everything is ready, we can start the folding & binding process!
