This FULL DAY workshop is aimed at those who would like to transform their digital illustrations/designs into riso prints. You will learn how to work on your files to make them ready for print as well as an introduction to texture options that the risograph provides.

How does the day look like?

Morning: We will start with an introduction to digital printing with Riso, followed by tips and tricks to keep in mind while working on your design/illustration.

Lunch: There is an hour break to have some lunch (included in the price) and a stretch.

Afternoon: The rest of the time will be for you to work on your design and get advice/help. I will help you set up your files properly and talk about texture options. And last but not least, the printing begins!!!

To keep in mind:

• The afternoon program starts as 13:00 - so you have +/-3 hours to work on your design. Important to plan your work process (if you work at a slower pace) so you can still print at the end of the day!

• You will have an A4 as template to work on - so you can do one big print, or divide the page as you like for smaller prints (there’s a guillotine available at the studio).

• You will go home with a set of 25 prints. If you’d like more, you can always bring your own paper or purchase some extra from the studio.

Important: Participants should have their own laptop and photoshop installed (or another digital drawing programme that can export to PDF). If using an iPad Pro the app Procreate is recommended.
Paper and art materials are provided at the studio.
