Make your own Riso 2024 Calendar!

You were all waiting for it - so here it is: Our Riso Calendar workshop! A full day of riso fun and creation just before the winter holidays!

This workshop is aimed at those who want to push their riso skills and learn about production printing and creating a printed product from start to finish! By the end of the workshop, you will have a calendar ready to be shared with friends or to be sold in markets or your online shop ;)

What will you make?

You will create a small 12 page calendar and will take 10 copies home.
You’ll be able to choose between a hanging calendar or a table standing format.

What will you need?

• For this workshop we will be working digitally. So you need to have either a laptop with a drawing software installed (photoshop/illustrator etc) or an iPad with procreate (or any similar app).

• If you want to work with analogue media, then you need access to a scanner.

• You need to make time at home to create your 12 designs. On Saturday we want to start printing and having time to produce your calendars.

How does the workshop look like?

Prep at home:

Before our printing session, you will get access to the workshop page to find all the information, that will guide you step by step on how to plan and prepare your designs.

You will have the option to design the pages yourself (blank template) OR to send us your files and we will finish the layout for you.

At the studio:

We will welcome you on Saturday with an overview of our day plan. We will look at your files and set up a printing plan.

You wil get to print your designs and learn about layers alignment.

We will then move to the production part of the workshop: Cutting and putting your calendar together.

Semi Advanced:
Understanding of riso (or participation in another workshop) is recommended.
